About Bravescast
Bravescast, part of the Atlanta Sportscast Network, is a free and fun way to follow all the latest happenings on your Atlanta Braves. Join hosts Pat and Bert, two die-hard Braves fans, every Sunday night for the 'Bases Loaded' segment. Here we will feature a variety of opinions on current Braves and MLB topics and news. Groups of friends, co-workers and families are all encouraged to join the discussions. On Wednesdays Bravescast really gets interesting with 'Winning Wednesdays.' Answer trivia questions and even e-mail your own questions and you could be a winner on the show. Friday's show will feature a preview of the weekend games as well as a chance for listeners to have their voice (or text) heard on Bravescast via phone calls and e-mails.
As always we will bring you updated schedules, standings and any Braves news on each new episode. Fans are always encouraged to call our call-in line to let everyone know your thoughts on your favorite team. Perfect for those exciting close games when you just have to let someone know how you feel! We will also feature Minor League segments to give you the insight to who is hot in the Braves minor league organization. About Bert
Robert brings the love for both the Braves and stats to Bravescast. He is a trivia and numbers buff. Be sure to see if you can answer some of his Braves and MLB trivia questions. Robert brings 3 years of broadcasting experience including calling color for 3 pro teams and high school sports as well.
Bert loves to travel and has been on many trips including a tour of baseball stadiums across the country. Bert has two kids: a girl named Abby and a boy named Andruw. Do you really need to wonder who his son is named after?
Whatever rare free time is available, Bert normally tries to spend time with his wife and kids.
About Pat
Patrick is very excited to combine a few of his favorite things together for Bravescast (the Braves and broadcasting). He works for a cluster of three Clear Channel Radio Stations and the Georgia State Panthers Radio Network in Atlanta. Patrick loves calling play-by-play for sports. He is the broadcaster for the Newnan Cougars, Mississippi Mudcats, Montgomery Bears and Georgia Gwizzlies and United South Football League.
Patrick is a graduate of the Atlanta Broadcast Institute. He also loves to write and has worked as a football journalist for the local paper in his hometown of Carrollton Georgia. Patrick's first love has always been the Braves. Patrick has one 3 year old son Travis, who also loves the Braves like his daddy. The two of them attend many games a year.
In his spare time, Patrick runs a sports productions team called Southern Sports Productions. Patrick and his co-host Robert stay as active as possible and would love to eventually return to coaching youth kids when their broadcasting days are over.
